Currently on the Storyshelf you can find Posts organised into sets of linked narratives arising from my family trees, family events, drawing also on associated places and people. Some future posts may relate more literally to the name of the blog: they will deal with how our thoughts become spoken words, which is something I study for a living, as a professor of Speech Science at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.
You can “buy me a coffee” to support research costs here. – at https://ko-fi.com/jimscobbie cos I know some people like the chance to be nice or generous.
